The BIOTRACE Rapid Read 5 VH2O2 system is a compact biological indicator reader for vaporised hydrogen peroxide sterilisers that returns results within minutes, with two-indicator capacity, barcode-linked records and a small footprint. For steam sterilisers (autoclaves) and ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilisers, the BIOTRACE Auto Read 20 and Auto Read 60 steam biological indicators and the Auto Read 4H EO biological indicator are read on the BIOTRACE Auto Read Pro reader, with 12 incubator wells, or the compact Auto Read Mini, with 3; the steam indicators are also supplied as process challenge device kits. Chemical indicator strips, in STERRAD and steam variants, are single-use printed strips placed inside packs to show that the contents were exposed to sterilising conditions.
