Overview
The BIOTRACE Auto Read Pro System is a biological indicator (BI) reader with 12 incubator wells, so that many BIs can be processed at the same time. It reads BIOTRACE Auto Read 20 Steam, Auto Read 60 Steam and Auto Read 4H EO biological indicators, with results as quick as 20 minutes.
The readout starts automatically when the reader detects a BI in one of its wells, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen shows incubation progress in real time. A built-in ampoule crusher activates the BIs. The last 208 results are stored automatically, and a built-in thermal printer prints a record at the end of each incubation and can reprint the most recent 200+ results. Audible and visual alarms flag positive BIOTRACE Auto Read 20 Steam BIs, interrupted incubations and reader error codes. The reader is supplied as 1 each (73400), and its printer paper is 50 mm in diameter, 6 rolls to a case (73451).
