Overview
CIDEX Activated Glutaraldehyde Solution has been used for more than 50 years as a high-level disinfectant for flexible endoscopes and other medical devices. It contains 2.45% glutaraldehyde and has been tested and cleared as a high-level disinfectant.
It achieves high-level disinfection in 20 minutes at 20 °C. Once activated, the solution can be reused for up to 14 days when it is monitored with CIDEX Solution Test Strips, which give an easy check of its efficacy. It can be used to disinfect a wide range of instruments, which reduces the risk of damage and the associated cost of repairs. Further guidance is in the instructions for use.
